KLH Research Model 21 High Performance FM Radio KLH Twenty One 21 Home Audio

Good to very good condition. Tested and is working as it should. Good tuning even without an external antenna. The knob/faceplate seems to be a more rare option (see pic). The grill fabric may or may not be original and is a little loose in place but still intact. There are issues on the metal bezels and the lower one looks to have scotch tape on it. The wood grain has is loose on some edges and has minor wear and tear such as chips and minor surfact wear but it remains intact. The backing has some minor flaws. Please check the pictures for specific condition. This is not in pristine condition but it has a good overall appearance all things considered.

Decent condition KLH Model 21 FM radio that works This is an estate find. I tested it briefly in my basement with just the internal FM antenna and it played local stations The owner’s manual and service manual are widely available on the internet. Please refer to the pictures of front and back panel for capabilities and refer any questions about operation to one of these manuals. Like any 50+ year old electrical appliance, future performance is unknown and this is being offered for sale in as-is, as-pictured condition for parts, repair or restoration. I sell all vintage electronics “for parts or not working” regardless of working condition.

Vintage 1960’s KLH Model Twenty One 21 FM Table Radio Wood Veneer Cabinet Works

A classic!! Condition: Vintage late 1960’s to early 1970’s KLH Model Twenty One table FM radio. This is the model with the muting switch. The radio plays when turned on, however, we have not tested all buttons and knobs. There is no guarantee that everything works. We did not test with an antenna, and there is no antenna included. The wood veneer cabinet is in poor condition with paint spatters and many areas of loss, scratches, and chipping. The silver metal areas on the front have residue and scratches throughout. The knobs also have residue and scratches. The bumpers on the bottom of the case have been replaced and there is an extra bumper for some reason. The cord appears to be original and is a little brittle. The front grill cover cloth is missing, and possibly other parts of the grill. There appear to be some horizontal trim pieces missing from the front top and bottom. The radio measures 13-5/8″W x 6-3/8″H x 6-3/4″D.

KLH Model 21 AM/FM Radio Receiver – Vintage

This unit has been tested. Both the AM and FM bands work with an antenna. The band switch is a little finicky so it could you a good cleaning or replacement. The speaker grill cover is not original and the wooden exterior has multiple scratches. See pictures. ** Please note: This item has come to me second hand and I am limited in my ability to fully test the item. I provide information to the best of my knowledge. I am not a technician and therefore may not be able to provide a fully comprehensive assessment of the condition of this item.

Replacement Grill KLH Model Eight Radio & Thirteen Speaker EGGSHELL White NEW

High quality grill replacement for KLH Model Eight and Thirteen speakers, off-white/eggshell color. Brown is NOT the correct color for KLH Eight grills, despite nearly all of them looking that way today. If you peel off the KLH badge or flip the original grill over, you can see they are white, or close to it. Please have a look at the photos I’ve included, it shows the difference quite well. If your Model Eight is like most, the original speaker grill is probably damaged, stained, yellowed, or just plain missing. If you’ve taken the time and effort to refinish the beautiful walnut cabinets (or are planning to), the old grill can look out of place. If you are lucky enough to have an Eight with mint cabinets, a new grill will restore it’s original appearance. Cabs a little worn? New grills will freshen things right up. Have a model Thirteen to go with your Eight, but the grilles are different? Now you can finally match them up. KLH’s original grill material is a fairly rigid nylon weave that turns brown with time and exposure to UV light, dirt, and cigarette smoke. The new grill is a semi-rigid, acoustically transparent fabric that replicates the original weave almost perfectly. This one is off white, and as mentioned is as close to original as you can get. It also looks superb with white-knobbed Model Eights. The new fabric has been cut to the exact dimensions of the old grill and slips into the recess in the front of the cabinet in exactly the same way. All new grills are test-fit before shipping. Please be aware there are slight differences in the Eight speaker cabinets over the years-some are solid walnut, others are veneer, and regardless of construction type, they are not all exactly the same size.
