Repair Kit Parts for Sony ICF Pro 70/80: a Tantalum Solution (Professional)

Up for auction is a kit with which you rescue and restore your Sony ICF Pro70/80. (See Pic 1 for packing details of this kit) It has everything included in the Standard package, plus two IC’s that are commonly found faulty on Pro 80: the voltage regulator and power amp, thus highly recommended for service professionals. IC’s are Sanyo original, brand new or NOS never used. This radio is a well known, well loved and much sought after all-band receiver, yet most units you find today suffer leaking or dried out electrolytic capacitors that make audio very weak or none. To replace these capacitors is no easy job because SMD type electrolytic capacitors are difficult to handle by standard tools and particularly so when working on ICF Pro80 where space is highly limited. Quite often PCB’s are ripped or torn, or new parts themselves are damaged when soldiering. It is truly a serious challenge even for highly skilled hands. My tantalum kit makes recapping job on ICF Pro 80 painless and stress free. Besides, tantalum capacitors are known for being far more accurate in specification and they easily outlive capacitors of any other kind. Truly guaranteed for life! This kit includes 16 tantalum SMD capacitors for much easier handling and 2 regular electrolytic capacitors you need to replace, plus a green LED to refresh the Liquid Crystal Display. Telescopic Antenna for Shortwave Radios Fits Sony ICF Pro70/80

Picture 1 is the complete set of goods you buy! Up for auction is a brand new 8-section replacement antenna for Sony ICF Pro70/80. Sony radios, antenna and other accessory that appear in the photos are for illustration and comparison only.  They  are NOT Included in this auction. This quality replacement antenna is not Sony original yet it extends longer and stronger for improved reception. It features an additional elbow near the base that makes the radio much easier to pack and carry around (See Pic 4).   Such an antenna is very hard to find on the market. Even if you do have your original Sony antenna, it is still recommended to have this one around as back up. So if you are to take your Pro70/80 into challenging weather conditions or on rough field trips, you can count on this replacement antenna and save your original one. IMPORTANT: Only recently we found that this antenna may not fit one particular regional version of Sony ICF Pro70/80 sold in Germany. We therefore advise all buyers to make sure that your Pro70/80 is NOT of this regional version. VINTAGE FAIRFIELD DIGITAL WAKE-O-MATIC AM/FM ALARM FLIP CLOCK RADIO MODEL 5100A

Description: vintage Fairfield Digital Wake-O-Matic AM/FM alarm flip clock radio model 5100A. Measurement: 10.25″ x 6.18″ x 3.5″. What Buyer Gets: Fairfield Digital Wake-O-Matic AM/FM alarm flip clock radio model 5100A. Condition: the radio is still in good used physical condition but has some surface scratches, scuffs and spots/marks. It looks like there are two knobs on the sides that are missing. The radio works but the knobs have static. The clock doesn’t work right. It does flip on its own when you adjust the knob on the side, but after that it doesn’t flip until you turn the side knob again, and then it only flips once on its own. Also, it doesn’t flip all the way when it does. I am selling it as is. See all the photos for a look at the actual radio you will get, because what you see is what you get. Most of the items I sell on Ebay are used and were purchased at Estate sales and auctions, so therefore, they are sold as is. Questions are recommended if you are unsure of anything. Up for auction are 6 bass/treble knobs (25.5 mm diameter at base) plus 3 tuning knobs (32 mm diameter at base). 9 knobs in all sold as a lot, for Grundig Satellit 3000 and 3400. These are NOT original but brand new, high quality replacement for the OEM knobs. They also fit different models or makes using potentiometers of 4 mm shaft. These knobs feature high gloss chrome exterior and all metal fastening mechanism that guarantees precise, smooth and reliable operation on your radio. To install/uninstall, just remove the lid and use a 10 mm ratchet to tighten/loose.
