Decent condition KLH Model 21 FM radio that works This is an estate find. I tested it briefly in my basement with just the internal FM antenna and it played local stations The owner’s manual and service manual are widely available on the internet. Please refer to the pictures of front and back panel for capabilities and refer any questions about operation to one of these manuals. Like any 50+ year old electrical appliance, future performance is unknown and this is being offered for sale in as-is, as-pictured condition for parts, repair or restoration. I sell all vintage electronics “for parts or not working” regardless of working condition.

KLH Model 21 AM/FM Radio Receiver – Vintage

This unit has been tested. Both the AM and FM bands work with an antenna. The band switch is a little finicky so it could you a good cleaning or replacement. The speaker grill cover is not original and the wooden exterior has multiple scratches. NEW Replacement Grill KLH Model Twenty One II Table Radio Black Fabric 21/II VTG

Custom cut, high quality grill cloth replacement for the KLH Model Twenty One/II table radio, made with acoustically transparent material designed for speaker grills and custom cut to the size of the backer. Holes for the knobs, faceplate, and tuner have been pre-made, so installation is a snap. If you have a 21/II, you are probably well aware that the black grill cloth fades over time-I’ve never seen one that’s still deep black in 12 years of searching and collecting! The faded grill pretty much ruins the look of the radio, especially if you’ve taken the time and effort to refinish the beautiful walnut cabinet. The new grill is a semi-rigid, acoustically transparent black fabric that closely mimics the fabric of the original. It looks exceptional with the walnut cabinet and silver faceplate. The fabric is stiff enough to not sag across the speaker hole. This listing is for ONE GRILL ONLY. No radio, backer, or faceplate is included, photos are samples to show the finished look.
